Senior Retail Energy Project Manager

• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, following company project governance standards

• Engage business units, IT teams, external vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure project alignment with business objectives

• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks

• Monitor and manage project budgets

• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory requirements

• Lead and motivate project teams, providing guidance and support to achieve project goals

• Maintain detailed project tracking and prepare senior presentation decks and status updates for senior management

• Lead and oversee complex IT projects within the energy sector

• Strategically plan, execute, and deliver projects supporting company energy initiatives

• Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in software development, application, and data architecture
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams
• 3+ years of Retail Energy Experience
• Strong knowledge of system design, cloud computing, security principles, and modern development frameworks
• Proven leadership and team management abilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems
• Familiarity with Agile and Dev Ops methodologies
• Ability to work with on-site and remote team members
• Ability to analyze complex problems and drive meaningful insights
• Strategic approach to aligning business objectives with technology solutions
• Ability to handle conflicting demands, prioritize workload, and delegate effectively
