ICE is seeking an experienced Senior IT Technician to support and maintain the technology infrastructure that powers our growing multi-state organization. This position provides advanced Tier II/III technical support while assisting with the administration, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise systems, end-user computing environments, and IT infrastructure. The Senior IT Technician serves as a technical resource for employees across multiple offices, participates in enterprise technology projects, mentors junior IT staff, and collaborates with IT leadership to improve operational efficiency, cybersecurity, and the overall employee technology experience.

This position is based in Houston, Texas, and primarily supports employees in Houston, Austin, Dallas, and San Antonio, with occasional travel to other ICE offices as business needs require.

• Support the administration and maintenance of Microsoft Windows environments, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra  (Azure AD), endpoint management solutions, and other enterprise technologies.
• Assist with system upgrades, software deployments, security initiatives, and technology lifecycle management.
• Support user account administration, permissions, device provisioning, and endpoint security.
• Monitor system performance and assist in identifying opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, and security.

• Provide advanced Tier II/III technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, CAD plotters, phone systems, and related technologies.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, and operating system issues.
• Support remote and onsite users across multiple office locations.
• Escalate and collaborate on complex technical issues while maintaining ownership through resolution.

• Configure, image, deploy, and maintain laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and associated hardware.
• Coordinate equipment procurement, inventory management, asset tracking, shipping, and replacement schedules.
• Assist with office expansions, relocations, infrastructure improvements, and technology implementations.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, asset records, and support procedures.

• Deliver exceptional customer service while supporting employees with varying levels of technical proficiency.
• Mentor junior IT staff by providing technical guidance and sharing best practices.
• Collaborate with the IT Director and other team members on strategic technology initiatives.
• Recommend process improvements that enhance technology services and operational efficiency.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience required. Bachelor's degree in preferred.
• Ten years of progressively responsible experience supporting enterprise IT environments.

  - Experience administering and supporting Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
