Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Oracle Web Center Content Developer / ECM Developer to provide technical development and support for Oracle Web Center Content, Oracle Web Center Forms Recognition, and Oracle Capture applications.
This individual will support business users, troubleshoot and resolve application issues, participate in change management activities, and work closely with a large Oracle support team. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with IT and business stakeholders.
This position will primarily support the existing Oracle Web Center Content 12c environment while also assisting with activities related to the organization's upgrade to Oracle Web Center Content 14c
.
- 5+ years of experience configuring and customizing Oracle Web Center Content 12c (formerly Stellent/UCM), including RIDC.
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Web Center Forms Recognition and Capture 12c (IPM/WFR/Capture).
- Experience migrating content from legacy repositories into Oracle Web Center Content
. - Experience with SQL and a strong understanding of Oracle databases
. - Strong understanding of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) processes and concepts, including:
- Records Management
- Metadata
- Workflows
- Search
- Security
- Provide technical development and production support for Oracle Web Center Content 12c (UCM/Stellent).
- Provide technical development and support for Oracle Web Center Forms Recognition and Capture 12c (IPM/WFR/Capture).
- Work with IT and business teams to resolve day-to-day support issues and tickets.
- Perform batch file loads and updates within Oracle Web Center Content.
- Create and maintain profiles, metadata configurations, rules, and workflows.
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and develop technical specifications and solutions.
- Support content migration activities from legacy repositories into Oracle Web Center Content.
- Participate in change management activities and applicable SOX control requirements.
- Track deliverables and provide status reporting to management as needed.
- Support Accounts Payable users with invoice-related issues within WFR and Capture.
- Participate in monthly maintenance activities for ECM and related applications.
- Assist with improving support processes, service delivery, and overall customer satisfaction.
- Work as a member of a large Oracle support team while managing responsibilities independently.
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, JSP, and/or React
. - Experience with Elasticsearch
. - Experience integrating Oracle Web Center Content with other business applications.
- Linux system administration experience, including building and maintaining application environments.
- Experience supporting or participating in an Oracle Web Center Content 14c upgrade
.
- Work with IT and business teams on day-to-day support activities and ticket resolution.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Oracle Web Center Content and ECM-related issues.
- Perform batch file loads and updates in Oracle Web Center Content.
- Create and maintain profiles, metadata configurations, rules, and workflows.
- Support business users and AP users with invoice-related issues in WFR and Capture.
- Participate in change management and scheduled maintenance activities.
- Assist with improving ECM support processes and documentation.
- Collaborate with the Oracle support team on technical issues and application enhancements.
- Assist with activities related to the organization's migration from Oracle Web Center Content 12c to 14c
, as needed.
This position serves as a backfill resource supporting the existing Oracle Web Center Content 12c environment while the organization upgrades its Oracle Web Center Content suite of applications to version 14c
.
The ideal candidate will have strong, hands-on experience supporting production Oracle Web Center Content and ECM environments and will be comfortable working directly with both technical teams and business users.
Candidates must have genuine hands-on experience with Oracle Web Center Content 12c and Oracle Web Center Forms Recognition/Capture 12c.
