WHAT YOU’LL DO:- Pre-Sales:
Lead impactful customer presentations and equipment demonstrations on-site or virtually; work closely with sales to develop and nurture customer relationships while executing both strategic and tactical objectives; actively contribute to proposal creation and tailored solution presentations. - On-Site Engagement:
Attend on-site customer meetings as required, providing technical expertise, solution guidance, and ensuring alignment between client needs and proposed architectures. Travel to customer locations will be needed based on project requirements. - Architectural Oversight:
Provide Architect Level oversight on large, complex projects, ensuring best practices in design, implementation, and integration, while maintaining technical leadership throughout all phases of project delivery. - Post-Sales:
Deliver architect-level technical support during project startup and, when necessary, after implementation, guaranteeing a seamless transition and ongoing client satisfaction. - Technical:
Identify, position, and promote opportunities for MGT’s MSP solutions, including Monitoring, Element Management, SIEM/SOC, and Managed VoIP/Cloud VoIP.
Key Technical Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of routing and switching.
- L2 edge switches, L3 routers, VPN technology, and optical network devices.
- Layer 4-7 application switches, firewalls (NG Firewalls), load balancers, IDPs, and cybersecurity practices.
- WLAN technologies (Controller and Cloud managed).
- Experience with products from leading providers: HPE - Juniper/Aruba, Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Arista, and F5 (vendor certifications preferred).
- OSI network model, Ethernet, and TCP/IP networking.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Experience- Five (5) or more years of hands‑on experience in an applicable technology field.
- Two (2) or more years of pre-sales engineering experience.
- Proven ability to design and implement large-scale solutions including budgetary and detailed cost estimating.
