Data Analyst

The Data Analyst role at GAC supports accurate tariff and service rate data management within GACagent
. The position focuses on maintaining and validating customer and supplier tariff information, investigating discrepancies, resolving data issues, and providing local training to support consistent system and process use.

• Maintain, update, validate, and upload customer tariffs, supplier tariffs, port tariffs, and service rate structures within GACagent
  .
• Carry out customer and supplier master data maintenance, including Know Your Customer (KYC) updates, tariff calculations, periodic reviews, and data audits to support completeness, consistency, and compliance.
• Investigate and address tariff-related discrepancies, coordinating with Operations
  , Commercial
  , and Finance teams to keep data current, accurate, and reliable.
• Collect, maintain, and organize data to support data management initiatives and business objectives.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data is collected, analyzed, and maintained accurately.
• Troubleshoot data-related issues and implement improvements to strengthen data quality, integrity, and reliability.
• Maintain customer master data and ensure billing instructions are accurately recorded and updated in GACagent
  .
• Provide local system and process training to employees who need additional support, supporting effective use of GACagent and related data management procedures.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance data management, tariff maintenance, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Administration, etc.) preferred.
• Strong computer skills and strong communication skills, with a solid understanding of Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience aligned with:
  Customer and Supplier Tariff Administration, Commercial Data Management, Database Maintenance, Data Analysis, Data Reporting, and Pricing and Rate Management.
• Understanding of vessel agency charging structures, port tariffs, supplier costs, and customer pricing models preferred.

• Microsoft 365 applications:
  Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point
