Personal Lines Insurance Account Manager
Position Summary:
The Person al Lines Insurance Account Manager will be responsible for managing a book of insurance business, marketing new and renewal business, and rounding out client accounts. In addition to client relationships, an Account Manager also maintains positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Essential Tasks:
- Assisting the Personal Lines Sales Producer in maintaining the client's insurance policies
- Preparing endorsements to send to the insurance carriers
- Assisting with cancellations of policies
- Educating clients about coverages and making recommendations as needed to meet client insurance needs
- Handling renewals and remarketing as needed
- Developing proposals and may present to clients
- Handling or referring insured's questions or delegating to appropriate team member
- Actively referring clients to Benefits and Commercial Lines departments for solicitation of new business
- Maintaining detailed customer records in the agency management systems (Applied EPIC and CSR 24)
- Maintaining a healthy working relationship with underwriters, carriers, and other stakeholders
- On occasion, may work with the Accounting Department to reconcile accounting discrepancies
- Keeping informed regarding industry information, new product information, coverages, and technology to continuously improve knowledge and stay current

Experience and
Education:
3-5 years of Personal Line Insurance experience required. Licensing and Credentials:
Active General Lines or Property & Casualty License required. Designations preferred (i.e CISR, CIC, CPRIA). Systems:
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Applied Epic experience preferred, but knowledge of similar Account Management System (AMS) is acceptable.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 25 pounds. Repeated use of sight to read documents and computer screens. Repeated use of hearing and speech to communicate on telephone and in person. Repetitive hand movements, such as keyboarding, writing, 10-key. Walking, bending, sitting, reaching and stretching in all directions.
