Personal Lines Account Manager

The Vanguard Agency is looking for an experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team.

This role is focused on managing and retaining an existing book of personal insurance clients while providing strong service and identifying opportunities to grow each account.

• Managing an assigned book of personal lines business
• Handling renewals, endorsements, policy changes, and client requests
• Reviewing coverage and identifying gaps
• Helping clients with auto, home, umbrella, and other personal insurance needs
• Shopping and remarketing accounts when needed
• Working with carriers on quotes and policy issues
• Following up on renewals and cancellations
• Cross selling additional coverage when appropriate
• Keeping accurate notes and follow ups in our CRM
• Working closely with our customer service and sales team

• Personal lines insurance experience
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Strong follow up and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple clients and renewals
• Comfortable communicating by phone, email, and text
• Ability to take ownership of an assigned book of business
• Experience with multiple insurance carriers is a plus
