The PDO represents indigent clients who have been accused of misdemeanor and felony offenses in Harris County, and the Holistic Services Division aims to address collateral consequences and existing legal and non-legal issues in our clients' lives that drive them into the criminal justice system. We provide dignity and personalized attention to our clients in hopes of stabilizing their lives and reducing their chances of returning to the system.
An ideal candidate would have significant experience handling the civil legal matters listed above as well as some criminal defense experience to aid in collaboration with clients’ criminal trial attorneys. Participation in community record-sealing clinics is encouraged.

Education and Licensure:
A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
Licensed to practice law in Texas.

Regular Full-time
Monday - Friday | 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Salary:
Depends on Qualifications
Based on 26 pay periods
Employment may be contingent on passing a drug screen and meeting other standards.
