Labor & Employment Associate - Houston

Foley & Lardner LLP is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated associate with 2 years of labor & employment litigation experience to join our nationally recognized Labor & Employment Practice Group in our Houston office.

• 2 years of labor & employment litigation experience
• Experience with temporary restraining order and temporary injunction expedited relief proceedings
• Experience with trade secret misappropriation and noncompete litigation wage and hour class action litigation
• Experience with single plaintiff employment litigation
• Strong legal writing skills
• Experience with discovery, motion practice, research and drafting pleadings, motions and other court filings
• Experience with trial preparation in both state and federal courts and participation in settlement conferences and negotiations
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and an exceptional work ethic
• Demonstrated client relationship and business development skills
• Top academics and experience required
• Fluency in Spanish a plus but not required

In support of transparency and equity in the workplace, Foley provides salary ranges for all positions. The expected salary for this position is $240,000. Actual pay will be determined based on education, experience, internal pay equity at Foley, and other job‑related factors permitted by law.
