Trust and Estates Paralegal

Our client is looking to fill the role of Trust and Estates Paralegal. Working with a client to hire a Trust and Estate Paralegal to join a wonderful team! This role supports high-profile partners, handling sophisticated estate planning, gift/estate tax filings, and trust administration for ultra-high-net-worth clients. You’ll be working in a client-facing role alongside an exceptional group of attorneys in a team-oriented, high-performance environment.

• Compensation is based on level of experience $65k-$80k and will be an onsite position

• Draft and manage gift tax and estate tax returns
• Work with multi-family structures, trusts, and high-value portfolios
• Collaborate directly with attorneys and clients on trust administration, probate, and estate planning
• Utilize estate planning software like GEMS, BNA, EVP, Pro Systems
• Maintain and reconcile financial records, G/L accounts, 1099s, K-1s
• Prepare fiduciary income tax returns and coordinate tax filings
• Manage trust funding and post-death administration
• Engage with clients and financial advisors directly

• 5+ years of Trust & Estates paralegal experience
• Experience with gift tax filings and estate tax processes
• Proficiency in estate/tax software (GEMS, BNA, Pro Systems, EVP)
• Strong client-facing skills and professional communication
• Bachelor’s degree or ABA-approved paralegal certificate preferred
• Detail-oriented, highly accountable, and self-driven
