Corporate -M&A

Seeking a mid-level associate to join our Corporate Practice Group based in our Houston office. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 6 years of experience in transactional work focused on acquisitions and divestitures. Candidates must have strong analytical and drafting skills, excellent organization and matter management abilities, and a strong ability to communicate effectively with clients and supervising attorneys.

Ideal candidates will have experience second-chairing complex transactions and interacting directly with clients. Involvement as a key member of deal teams, including responsibility for running fundamental aspects of transactions, from due diligence through closing, is preferred. Some experience in securities is beneficial but not required.

This is an opportunity to represent clients in a national Corporate practice and participate immediately in sophisticated matters. Our deal teams are structured to allow associates to assume more responsibility and receive a high level of partner and client contact. The salary range for this position is $260,000 - $350,000, dependent on relevant years of experience.

Candidates must be licensed and in good standing in the state of Texas, with excellent academic credentials.
