Job Title: Associate Attorney – Commercial and Real Estate Litigation
Location: Houston, Texas, Galleria Area

Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join our litigation team, focusing on commercial and real estate law. This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse docket of cases under supervision, encompassing all phases from pre-suit through trial.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee a docket of commercial and real estate litigation cases under supervision.
- Handle all aspects of litigation, including pre-suit investigations, filing lawsuits, discovery, motion practice, pre-trial preparations, and, eventually, independent trial proceedings.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in Texas.
- Strong self-motivation and commitment to excellence in legal work.
- Excellent analytical, research and issue spotting skills.
- Experience in discovery, deposition and dispositive motions.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- At least 1 year of experience in commercial and real estate litigation, required.

Compensation: This is a Contract position. Compensation is based on billable hours for the first three months, followed by an evaluation to assess performance. No benefits offered during the initial evaluation period. An associate can earn up to $180,000 per year if the minimum billable hour goals are exceeded.

Upon a successful phone interview you will be invited for an in‑person interview with one of our attorneys. Ideal candidates will then be brought to a second in‑person interview with our principal attorney who will make the final decision.
