Litigation Paralegal

We are seeking a high-level, empathetic, and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our Houston office. In this role, you will work directly with an attorney and will support 1-2 additional attorneys if needed. You won't just be "processing" files - you will be managing them from intake through resolution. This position is perfect for a veteran plaintiff-side paralegal who thrives on autonomy and wants to make a genuine difference in clients' lives.

• Full File Management:
  Move cases through the entire lifecycle, from pre-litigation and discovery through to trial preparation.
• Diverse caseload:
  Manage a portfolio of cases split between sexual abuse litigation, primarily focused on consistent client communication and support, and single-event cases, primarily handling motor vehicle accidents, product liability, and general Personal Injury matters.
• Client advocacy:
  Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and gathering essential evidence.
• Limited travel:
  Occasional travel may be required to collaborate with our Atlanta or Birmingham teams.

• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Paralegal, specifically on the Plaintiff side.
• Ability to work in-office full-time
• Demonstrated ability to handle a file without heavy oversight
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, specifically the ability to handle sensitive subject matter with discretion and empathy
