Litigation Paralegal / Legal Assistant – Civil Defense

Houston (Galleria) | Full-Time | On-Site

• Draft, edit, and finalize pleadings, discovery responses, subpoenas, and other legal filings.
• Manage state and federal e-filing systems (Odyssey, PACER) with accuracy and timeliness.
• Organize case materials, hearing binders, and trial exhibits.
• Coordinate scheduling, witness prep, and attorney trial support.
• Track litigation calendars and ensure deadlines are met across multiple cases.

• At least 3 years’ experience providing litigation support (insurance defense experience strongly preferred).
• Thorough knowledge of Texas civil procedure and familiarity with local court practices.
• Strong proofreading, grammar, and document formatting skills.
• Highly organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable handling multiple active matters.
• Experience with billing software
