Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced personal injury attorney to join our firm. In this role you will be responsible for managing a caseload of personal injury claims from inception through settlement negotiation. You will diligently represent our clients' interests and ensure they receive fair compensation for their injuries.
Responsibilities:
- Strategically litigate personal injury cases by working up case files
- Draft pleadings, including complaints, motions, oppositions, and other legal documents to advance case progression
- Manage cases through the pre-litigation process from intake through demand, negotiation, and settlement
- Draft and review discovery, meet and confer letters, and discovery motions
- Prepare, conduct, and defend percipient and expert depositions
- Argue motion and opposition hearings remotely and in court
- Review work product, including demand letters, settlement agreements, and other legal documents, to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Draft mediation briefs, attend mediation, and actively participate in negotiating settlements
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and assess case values
- Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates and discuss case developments
- Prepare pre-trial documents and trial materials in case the case goes to trial
- Participate in mediations, settlement negotiations, and court hearings
- Manage and provide guidance to litigation assistants, case managers, and paralegals
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the Texas State Bar and in good standing
- 2+ years of Personal Injury Attorney experience required
- Ability to manage a caseload independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate commitment to client advocacy, integrity, and professionalism
- Excellent research, communication, and negotiation skills
Salary Range: $100k - $215,000+ (commensurate with experience and qualifications)

Salary Description
$100,000 - $215,000+ DOE
