Our personal injury practice is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal (5+ years in aiding within litigation department, trial experience preferred) to aid our trial team. The paralegal will be responsible for maintaining accurate case files, working with our staff to meet all court requirements for each case and serving as a reliable advocate for our growling list of clients.

Our personal injury practice is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal(5+ years in aiding within litigation department, trial experience preferred) to aid our trial team. The paralegal will be responsible for maintaining accurate case files, working with our staff to meet all court requirements for each case and serving as a reliable advocate for our growling list of clients.
Key Responsibilities- Draft high-quality, court-ready motions, pleadings, and legal filings for both state and federal courts with accuracy and efficiency
- Prepare and respond to discovery requests, including interrogatories, requests for production, and admissions
- Maintain an accurate litigation calendar, including discovery deadlines, hearings, and appointments
- Organize and manage a high-volume docket on a daily basis
- E-file pleadings and motions state and federal courts
- Prepare case files for trial, including organizing documentation and exhibits
- Professionally communicate with clients, both in writing and in person
- Maintain an organized office filing system (physical and digital)
- Perform administrative tasks such as scanning, faxing, and emailing
- Associate’s degree or higher and/or paralegal certification
- Minimum 5 years of experience with federal and state e-filing
- Strong ability to calculate and calendar legal deadlines in accordance with local, state, and federal rules
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to producing error-free work
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and general computer literacy
- Experience with cloud-based client management software is a plus
- Reliable, trustworthy, respectful, and honest
- Friendly and professional demeanor; able to handle multiple clients and multitask effectively
- Able to take direction but also proactive in suggesting improvements to office processes
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required
- Willingness to learn and grow in the role
