A top Am Law firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Litigation Associate to join its highly regarded Houston office. This is an opportunity to handle sophisticated employment matters for leading national clients alongside a nationally recognized team.
The RoleThe associate will work on complex labor and employment litigation in state and federal courts, including:
- Discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and wrongful termination claims
- Wage and hour disputes and collective/class actions (FLSA)
- Restrictive covenant and trade secret litigation
- Matters before the EEOC, DOL, and related agencies
- Drafting dispositive motions and key pleadings
- Managing discovery and taking/defending depositions
- Preparing witnesses and assisting with trial strategy
- Direct client interaction and case management
- 2–8+ years of labor and employment litigation experience
- Federal court experience preferred
- Strong academic credentials and writing skills
- Texas bar admission or eligibility
