Job Description

We are a boutique Immigration Law firm experiencing significant growth, with offices in Houston and Richardson. We are currently seeking a dedicated, dependable, and knowledgeable Associate Attorney to join our Houston Office.
The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in immigration law and procedure, be bilingual (English and Spanish), and possess excellent communication, research, and drafting skills. This role requires both independent work and collaboration with senior attorneys and legal staff to deliver exceptional service to our clients. The Associate Attorney will also assist clients with interview preparation and attend interviews as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct client consultations in both English and Spanish
  • Perform in-depth legal research and analysis on immigration law matters
  • Prepare, review, and finalize legal documents, client packages, and agreements including but not limited to Adjustment of Status, Consular processing, Asylum, Employment Based immigration, etc.
  • Represent and prepare clients for USCIS interviews
  • Support senior paralegal staff with drafting and client consultations
  • Maintain accurate and organized case records and client communication logs
  • Collaborate with attorneys and staff to ensure efficient case management
  • Stay current with changes in immigration law, policies, and procedures
  • Provide sound legal advice to clients on a variety of immigration issues.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Licensed and in good standing with Texas state bar
  • Minimum 2 years of experience practicing immigration law
  • Strong legal writing and document drafting skills
  • Proficiency in legal administrative processes and systems
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, especially with clients
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required
