Litigation Associate

An Am Law 200 firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its Houston office in a fast-paced and high-profile litigation practice. The firm is nationally recognised for handling complex PTI, energy, and commercial disputes, offering associates early responsibility, meaningful client exposure, and the opportunity to work alongside highly experienced trial lawyers.

• Support a broad range of Plaintiff Tort & Insurance (PTI) litigation matters.
• Assist on cases across Oil & Gas litigation, energy litigation, elevator and escalator claims, and dram shop matters.
• Provide hands‑on support for matters headed to trial, including preparation of pleadings, discovery, and motion practice.
• Collaborate closely with senior litigators and partners on high‑volume, complex matters.
• Contribute to the success and growth of the Houston litigation team.

• 2–6 years of litigation experience, ideally in PTI, energy, or commercial litigation.
• Trial experience or strong trial‑readiness is a plus.
• Ability to take on a high‑volume workload and work collaboratively with senior attorneys.
• Strong research, drafting, and analytical skills.
• Immediate exposure to a robust pipeline of high‑profile, trial‑ready matters.
• Work closely with a nationally recognised Am Law 200 litigation team.
