Consumer Finance Regulatory​/Compliance Senior Associate

We have an immediate opening for a Consumer Finance Regulatory/Compliance Senior Associate with a minimum of five years of experience preferred
. The ideal candidate will have experience working with financial institutions and consumer lenders, navigating and developing compliance policies and procedures and disclosures, and advising clients on the various applicable statutes and regulations as they apply to their business. Familiarity with the Truth‑in‑Lending Act (TILA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), and state consumer credit laws is essential.

Recent law firm experience is strongly preferred. The candidate will work primarily with attorneys in our national Consumer Financial Services Practice.

The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials, a commitment to the community, superior interpersonal skills and a demonstrated record of working well under pressure. Candidates should demonstrate exceptional judgment, the ability to effectively handle multiple projects, and the ability to articulate legal strategies and courses of action. Candidates should have an active bar license in the state corresponding with the office to which they are applying or commit to obtaining one as soon as possible.

We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and much more. Pursuant to applicable state laws, the compensation range for this position in California, Colorado, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Jersey, and Washington only is $250,000-$320,000, in New York, Vermont, and Washington, D.C. is $240,000-$305,000, in Illinois is $215,000-$305,000, and in Minnesota is $215,000-$300,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Salaries in all other markets will vary depending on market data. Associates are eligible for an Associate Performance Bonus and Client Development Bonus.
