About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys handling commercial litigation and personal injury defense matters. This role involves managing cases through all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, depositions, trial preparation, and post-trial support.
Key Responsibilities
➤ Support attorneys in commercial disputes and personal injury defense matters.
➤ Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, and other court documents in state and federal courts.
➤ Manage electronic and physical case files, including contracts, medical records, insurance documents, and discovery materials.
➤ Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and trials; prepare exhibit binders and witness materials.
➤ Review and summarize medical records, accident reports, and business records.
➤ Assist with expert witness coordination and trial preparation.
➤ Manage eDiscovery processes, including document review platforms and ESI protocols.
➤ Ensure compliance with court rules and deadlines.
Qualifications
➤ Bachelor’s degree and/or ABA-approved paralegal certification preferred.
➤ 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience, ideally in commercial litigation and/or insurance defense.
➤ Strong knowledge of federal and state court procedures.
➤ Experience with discovery management, trial preparation, and document review platforms.
➤ Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
