Digital Transformation Counsel, In-House

Entrusted Advisors is expanding our bench of experienced digital transactions attorneys to support ongoing and upcoming client needs. We're actively seeking seasoned in-house counsel with experience supporting business teams to work alongside in-house legal teams and business stakeholders on a variety of projects related to incorporating digital products and services into both operational processes and commercial offerings. Experience in traditional energy and oil and gas sectors is highly preferred.

• Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on data privacy and protection provisions in digital and tech-enabled services agreements
• Provide advice and counsel on ownership, control, permitted use, confidentiality, and other data-related provisions in both vendor and customer contracts
• Develop and implement internal processes, procedures, and playbooks regarding data protection provisions in customer agreements
• Act as internal subject-matter expert on all data protection and confidentiality questions with regard to customer data

• Admitted to practice law as in-house counsel in your state of residence
• 5+ years of law practice experience, including a minimum of 3 years in-house
• Strong understanding of data protection considerations, particularly in the oil and gas vertical
• Experience working directly with internal business clients and external stakeholders
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
