Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced HOA attorney in Houston, TX, to support the property owner association section. The role involves preparing and organizing legal documents, amending governing documents, ensuring compliance with state law, and managing lawsuits when necessary. The attorney will report to the managing partner and serve as corporate counsel for assigned clients.

• Communicate with clients
• Supervise legal assistants
• Attend client board/member meetings
• Prepare and pursue judicial foreclosures
• Conduct legal research and prepare legal opinions and court briefings

• Licensed to practice in Texas and the Southern District of Texas
• Proficient with MS Office
• Able to maintain a full-time, in-person working schedule
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
• Strong writing and communication skills with attention to detail
• Approachable with a customer service mentality
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree

• Licensed attorney in Texas

• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Office
