Job Overview
A law firm seeks an experienced Associate in Houston, TX, to join its Corporate Privacy and Cyber practice group. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of experience in privacy law, focusing on transactional matters.
Duties- Advise clients on data privacy, cybersecurity, and AI compliance.
- Negotiate privacy and cybersecurity components in commercial agreements.
- Manage privacy, security, and AI aspects of corporate transactions.
- Lead projects with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
- Minimum of four years of relevant privacy experience.
- Proven experience in product counseling and commercial contracts.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.
CertificationsCIPP certification preferred.
Skills- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
