Logistics Coordinator

Overview

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and optimizing the movement of goods between our 2 distribution centers in the United States as well as our 3 International subsidiaries. Key responsibilities include managing inventory, entering purchase orders for internal company use and subsidiaries of PCCA as well as sales orders-based demand for subsidiaries of PCCA, tracking shipments, and ensuring timely delivery.

• Create purchase orders
• Ensure availability of the required quantity of material at the needed time for production
• Maintain and ensure that lead times, costs, order multiples, and minimums are accurate
• Negotiate best costs for all PCCA products
• Create Sales order for PCCA subsidiaries to fulfil demand
• Track KPIs and report on all logistics performance
• Ensure proper documentation is sent from the suppliers and that all purchasing activities adhere to established policies and procedures
• Analyze data to identify problematic area and suggest improvements
• Schedule and track all distribution orders and International orders
• Discover the most cost-effective shipping modes and schedules
• Work with QA/QC and Receiving in regards to any quality issues that arise
• Help foster trusting relationships with business partners
• Assist in leveraging and optimizing PCCA global supply chain, which align with organizational goals and objectives
• Ensure that department and site objectives are in line with corporate objectives
• Assist with related special projects, as assigned
• Oversee inventory levels in all distribution centers to meet demand
• Collaborate with forecast analysis to ensure material flow is aligned

• Bachelors of Supply Chain, Business Analytics, with two years of experience in supply chain
• Experience in data mining, analysis and reporting
• Familiarity with supply chain processes (e.g. inventory planning, warehouse management)
• Working knowledge of MS office, relational databases and ERP system (e.g. SAP)
• Analytical mind with business acumen
• Problem-solving aptitude
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Outstanding organizational ability
• Advanced statistical/analytical and decision-making skills

• APICS preferred
