Morgan McKinley has partnered with a dynamic FMCG in Dublin to recruit an experienced Supply Planner to join their team,
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal inventory levels, driving service levels, and maintaining a balanced supply plan to meet customer demand efficiently. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the ability to navigate a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment. Supporting the North American market, this role will cover US business hours (12pm-8pm)
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Develop and maintain mid-to-long-term supply plans aligned with demand forecasts, production capacity, and inventory targets.
- Coordinate with demand planners, production, procurement, and logistics to ensure supply continuity.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels across multiple warehouses or markets to prevent overstock and stock-outs.
- Analyze supply constraints and develop mitigation strategies to minimize service disruptions.
- Create and maintain key planning KPIs (e.g., fill rate, inventory turns, service levels).
- Drive continuous improvement in planning processes, tools, and systems.
- Lead S&OP supply planning processes, ensuring alignment across functions.
- Maintain strong relationships with manufacturing sites, third-party suppliers, and logistics providers.
- Provide timely communication and updates to stakeholders on supply issues or changes.
- 3+ years of experience in supply planning preferably in an FMCG or consumer goods environment.
- Willingness to work US business hours (e.g., 12pm - 8pm)
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- Proficient in planning software with strong Excel experience.
- Experience with forecasting and inventory management tools is a plus.
- APICS/CPIM certification or equivalent is an advantage.
