Join our Houston team as a Supply Chain Manager responsible for driving supply chain execution at the plant level while delivering year‑over‑year performance improvements. In this critical role, you'll partner with the Senior Director of the MPD Center of Excellence to execute supply chain activities efficiently, leveraging global processes for materials, planning, and procurement to create an industry‑leading supply chain environment.
Responsibilities- Drive plant materials, planning, and procurement strategy aligned with global Repair & Maintenance objectives
- Maximize service levels while meeting inventory goals through effective distribution planning
- Analyze current inventories and procedures to increase supply chain efficiency and on‑time delivery
- Monitor supplier performance and identify/qualify new suppliers in collaboration with other departments
- Develop and report on key KPIs related to overall supply chain performance
- Lead cross‑functional teams in support of strategic initiatives within supply chain and across Manufacturing
- Collaborate with order management, sales, production managers, and suppliers to support business objectives
- Identify opportunities and implement action plans to increase efficiencies and decrease costs
- Ensure all supply chain processes meet legal requirements and company standards
- Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental protection standards
- Strong problem‑solving, negotiation, and presentation abilities
- Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices
- Strong product and market knowledge
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Effective leadership and communication skills with all stakeholders
- Financial accountability and budget management capabilities
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management
- Oil & Gas industry supply chain experience
- Supply Chain Management certification – APICS/ASCM
- MBA or Master's Degree in a relevant field
