Primary Services is actively recruiting for an Entry‑Level Supply Chain Management Associate for an organization in the oil and gas sector. This role supports high‑volume domestic distribution operations, including Canada‑bound shipments, and plays a critical part in managing sales orders from entry through final delivery. The position interfaces with sales, logistics, plant operations, credit, and third‑party warehouses to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely fulfillment of customer demand.
The Supply Chain Management Associate will manage significant monthly order volumes while maintaining strict adherence to regulatory and financial controls. This is a great opportunity for a detail‑oriented professional to work in SAP‑driven supply chain processes in a structured corporate environment.
Responsibilities- Process sales orders in SAP, including availability checks, quota verification, credit validation, removal of delivery blocks, batch selection, shipping documentation, goods issue, and invoicing.
- Coordinate domestic and Canada‑bound shipments, including broker communication to ensure cross‑border compliance.
- Monitor and reconcile inventory at railroad sidings, lease tracks, warehouses, and distribution centers; provide monthly reconciliation reports to accounting.
- Manage replenishment activities across off‑site warehouses and distribution facilities.
- Maintain and update customer master data in SAP; coordinate new customer setup with sales, logistics, and credit teams.
- Resolve invoice pricing discrepancies in collaboration with pricing coordinators, freight forwarders, and credit representatives.
- Ensure compliance with SOX requirements and applicable domestic trade regulations.
- Communicate shipment status, inventory levels, and order updates to internal stakeholders and external customers.
- Support technical documentation requests, including product data sheets and safety documentation.
- Participate in departmental meetings and provide operational reporting as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, order management, or account coordination.
- Proficiency in SAP order processing and inventory management modules.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Knowledge of domestic transportation regulations and cross‑border shipping requirements.
- Experience with inventory reconciliation and financial controls.
- Familiarity with SOX compliance standards.
- Ability to manage high transaction volumes with accuracy and attention to detail.
