USA_Sourcing Specialist _Buying​/Procurement

Join our dynamic team in Houston, TX, where you will play a crucial role in managing procurement processes and supporting production activities. As a Sourcing Specialist, you'll leverage your expertise in Oracle systems to ensure seamless operations and effective supplier interactions. • Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs) in Oracle.
• Review and validate requisitions before PO creation.
• Confirm supplier setup and availability in Oracle.
• Navigate multiple Oracle screens to check PO history and review inventory and supply/demand data.
• Support planners with accurate status updates.
• Prepare PO and part status reports for production meetings.
• Manage Blanket Purchase Orders (BPOs) and interact with suppliers for releases, expediting, and payment follow-up.
• Support farm-out and repair activities with various suppliers.
• Communicate with suppliers via email and Teams for RFQs, material expediting, and requirement clarifications.
• Maintain documentation for auditability and PO attachments.

• Hands-on experience with Oracle OSCAR and/or Oracle PASCAL.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 4 years of experience in sourcing.
• Proficiency in English.

• Experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Background in Service, Repair, or Maintenance environments.
• Familiarity with aero-derivative products or turbo machinery services.
• Strong Buyer Mindset and situational awareness.
