About Submer

Submer designs and delivers end-to-end AI datacenter infrastructure built around industry-leading liquid cooling.

We help organizations scale AI beyond the limits of traditional datacenters by enabling higher density, greater efficiency and lower environmental impact – accelerating time-to-AI from first deployment to full production.

What impact you will have

Submer Group isseekingan experienced and highly hands‑on Vice President, Supply Chain & Logistics to lead sourcing, procurement, supplier management, logistics, manufacturing support, and supply chain operations for our rapidly growing modular technologies infrastructure business.

This is not a traditional corporate VP role focused solely on strategy and management layers. We are looking for a builder with an operator mentality — someone who thrives in fast‑growth environments, is comfortable working directly with suppliers and manufacturing partners, and can build scalable supply chain capabilities from the ground up while remaining deeply involved in execution.

The successful candidate will combine executive-level leadership with day-to‑day operational engagement, helping scale a next‑generation modular infrastructure platform supporting data centers, AI infrastructure, liquid cooling, power systems, and mission‑critical technologies.

This individual will play a critical role in shaping supplier strategy, procurement operations, logistics execution, manufacturing readiness, and commercial scalability as the business continues its rapid expansion globally.

The ideal candidate brings deep experience within modular technologies, mission‑critical infrastructure, data centers, industrial manufacturing, energy infrastructure, or advanced technology hardware environments and has a strong network across electrical, mechanical, cooling, fabrication, and infrastructure supply chains.

What you’ll do

Executive Supply Chain Leadership

  • Develop and execute the global supply chain and logistics strategy to support aggressive business growth, manufacturing operations, and project delivery requirements.
  • Build scalable procurement, sourcing, supplier management, logistics, inventory, and planning capabilities aligned with a high‑growth infrastructure business.
  • Establish KPIs, operational dashboards, forecasting models, and reporting frameworks to drive accountability and predictability.
  • Partner closely with executive leadership on long‑term operational scaling, supplier capacity planning, and infrastructure growth strategy.
  • Create scalable operating processes while maintaining speed, agility, and entrepreneurial execution.
  • Lead by example as a hands‑on operator willing to personally engage in supplier negotiations, logistics escalations, sourcing decisions, and operational problem‑solving.

Strategic Sourcing & Procurement

  • Lead sourcing and procurement activities for critical modular technologies and infrastructure components.
  • Develop sourcing strategies for long‑lead, high‑risk, and highly specialized equipment categories.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing structures, framework contracts, and strategic supplier partnerships.
  • Drive cost optimization and value engineering initiatives while maintaining quality and delivery expectations.
  • Build long‑term strategic relationships with key suppliers supporting future scale and global expansion.
  • Build and manage a high‑performing global supplier ecosystem.
  • Lead supplier qualification, audits, performance management, and risk mitigation activities.
  • Develop supplier scorecards focused on quality, responsiveness, delivery performance, innovation, and cost competitiveness.
  • Establish contingency planning and dual‑source strategies for critical infrastructure components.
  • Work directly with manufacturing partners and suppliers to improve operational execution and production scalability.
