Operations Team Member – Pay $19/hr

Fond Memories – Houston, TX

Work Hours:

Tuesday – Saturday 2pm-11pm

Provide dignified aftercare services to pet families, supporting them with empathy and professionalism during difficult moments.

• Operate cremation equipment (retort) with care and precision
• Create and package paw prints and memorial keepsakes
• Engrave plaques and memorial items
• Process and package cremated remains with compassion and accuracy
• Perform quality control checks to ensure excellence in every step
• Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance needs
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the care center
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and protocols
• Support team goals and assist with additional operational tasks as needed

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a service‑related industry
• Valid driver’s license may be required

• Passion for pets and empathy for grieving families
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Positive attitude, ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible, dependable, adaptable in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong problem‑solving and time‑management skills
• Good verbal communication skills
• Safety‑minded; commitment to maintaining a clean and safe workplace

• Frequent lifting and moving of over 100 lbs
• Repetitive motion, bending, crouching, kneeling, standing for extended periods
• Exposure to elevated heat and noise levels
• Working directly with deceased pets in a respectful and professional environment
