Dispatcher, Supply Chain​/Logistics

WE ARE HIRING and looking for an experienced Transport Dispatcher to join our growing team TODAY.

This role is ideal for an experienced transportation professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys coordinating complex freight projects and customer accounts, and takes ownership of operational execution from order entry through to final delivery and billing readiness.
Minimum 3 years of trucking transportation industry experience is required.

As the dispatch, you are responsible from the beginning of the process to the end. Quoting, entering the orders into our TMW, building a manifest, dispatching the driver and following up until the POD is in the system and the order is ready for billing. To do this you are in constant communication with drivers as well as our customers. You will be responsible for dispatching deliveries, preplanning freight for return trips, preparing ACE Manifests in order to cross the border.

As the successful candidate, you will be self‑motivated, results driven and a team player. In addition, you will possess the following qualifications:

• Experience as a Dispatcher in the transportation field with knowledge of relevant regulations is required
• Expert knowledge of the Houston, Texas area
• Experience is “hunting” freight through load boards, supplier distribution emails, customer emails.
• Experience and knowledge of USand Canada shipping regulations and practices.
• Flatdeck, over dimensional and LTL shipping knowledge required
• This position requires an individual who is adaptable; self‑motivated, results driven and a team player.
• Successful with building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• An expert at multi‑tasking and effectively managing changing priorities.
• High level of detail in performing tasks.
• Proactive, able to identify early on any potential issues, and to implement solutions.
• Ability to work varying hours and be on call
• Experience in TMW, People Net, Microsoft Office, CBSA’s ACE Portal and various load boards.
