Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain Analyst to join our team and support the Chief Operating Officer (COO) in managing and optimizing our supply chain operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in data analysis, reporting, and process improvement initiatives. Strong proficiency in Excel, including macro automation, is essential for handling large datasets, creating detailed reports, and providing actionable insights to enhance supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Collect, organize, and analyze supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Create, automate, and maintain complex Excel-based reports, including dashboards and performance metrics using macros and advanced Excel functions.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations for the COO and other senior leadership on key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational performance.

Process Optimization:

  • Work closely with the COO to identify areas of the supply chain that can be improved for greater efficiency and cost savings.
  • Develop and implement solutions to streamline processes and enhance overall productivity.
  • Assist with supply chain strategy development and project management initiatives.
  • Support cross-functional teams including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and operations to ensure smooth and timely execution of supply chain functions.
  • Communicate findings, insights, and recommendations clearly and concisely to the COO and other team members.

Supply Chain Monitoring:

  • Track and monitor supply chain performance and inventory levels to ensure optimal flow.
  • Perform root cause analysis on supply chain disruptions and recommend corrective actions.

Data Management & System Integration:

  • Manage and integrate supply chain data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting.
  • Use Excel macros to automate repetitive tasks and enhance the efficiency of supply chain reporting.
Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2-4 years of experience in supply chain analysis, logistics, or a related role.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, with a strong focus on Excel, including advanced features such as macros, pivot tables, and VBA scripting.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of advanced formulas, macros, pivot tables, and VBA.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred:

  • Experience with supply chain management software or ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Experience in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
