Job Description:
The Crude Operator will oversee end‑to‑end terminal and pipeline operations, ensuring accurate execution and risk monitoring in a fast‑paced trading environment.

Responsibilities- Oversee end‑to‑end terminal and pipeline operations, including nominations, scheduling, volume reconciliation, and documentation.
- Interface with terminals, pipeline operators, inspection companies, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate execution.
- Provide coverage across desks during team absences, maintaining continuity and operational integrity.
- Monitor and report operational risks, delays, and discrepancies, escalating as needed.
- Maintain accurate records in trade capture systems to reflect physical movements and contribute to process improvements.
- Collaborate with traders, schedulers and commercial teams to align logistics with business objectives.
- Provide cost estimation for inspection, freight, freight differentials, shipping related costs, demurrage, etc.
- Analyze and confirm commodity invoices and all service related invoices.
- Manage storage inventory for daily and monthly end requirements.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in crude oil operations, preferably in a trading environment.
- Strong understanding of U.S. pipeline infrastructure and terminal operations.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in trade capture systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Detail‑oriented with a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
