Cheniere Energy is seeking an experienced Senior Supply Chain Management Specialist to oversee a portfolio of contracts. The role manages the entire contract life cycle – sourcing, contracting, implementation and ongoing administration – and drives continuous improvement of the SCM Team’s processes, tools and systems.
Responsibilities- Support sourcing and contracting of contracts within assigned categories.
- Collaborate with business partners and suppliers to ensure compliance, value delivery and continuous improvement.
- Lead negotiations and manage post‑award contract administration, working with Legal, Treasury, Risk Management and Insurance teams.
- Coordinate supplier assurance, purchasing delivery and other functions to align strategy and market capability.
- Act as the single point of accountability for spend on delegated contracts.
- Provide performance feedback and support contractor management for contract owners.
- Assist in developing and implementing category strategies in partnership with the Category Manager.
- Perform supplier pre‑qualification, evaluate bids, and document award decisions.
- Draft, negotiate and execute contract commercial terms and structures.
- Maintain contract records, correspondence and system entries.
- Support the creation of Contract Purchase Agreements (CPA) and Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA).
- Integrate data and conduct analytics to identify procurement trends and improve processes.
- Lead change‑management initiatives and promote adoption of new tools and practices.
- Collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Leverage scale to coordinate supply needs and negotiations.
- Serve as owner of spend on delegated contracts.
- Support contract owners in gathering performance feedback.
- Contribute to category strategy execution.
- Strong sourcing, negotiation and contract management knowledge.
- Experience with source‑to‑contract and purchase‑to‑pay systems, particularly Oracle and GEP.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Self‑motivated, multitasking, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Effective cross‑functional collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinking, attention to detail and time‑management.
Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent combination of education, experience and certifications may be considered.
Minimum eight (8) years of progressive supply chain management experience, including sourcing, competitive bidding, RFP development, bid evaluation, supplier selection and post‑award contract management.

Work Conditions- Office located in downtown Houston with parking or metro ticket options.
- Occasional travel to Sabine Pass and Corpus Christi sites; travel may also occur to other business locations.
- Periodic work outside normal hours, weekends or from home may be required.
