Sr Inventory Planner

As a Sr Inventory Planner here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in optimizing inventory management and ensuring efficient supply chain operations. You will leverage your expertise to develop and implement inventory strategies, analyze demand patterns, and collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials, thereby minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.

In this role, you will impact the business operations at Honeywell by effectively managing inventory levels, optimizing supply chain processes, and controlling costs to improve customer satisfaction, minimize carrying costs, and reduce waste.

• Lead and manage inventory planning activities to optimize stock levels.
• Develop and implement inventory strategies based on demand analysis and forecasting.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve supply issues.
• Monitor inventory performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory management efficiency.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to the inventory planning team.

• 6+ years of experience in inventory planning or supply chain management.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret demand data and optimize inventory levels.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and tools such as SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Experience in forecasting, demand planning, and supplier coordination.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams to drive inventory performance improvements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience with inventory optimization strategies and lean manufacturing principles.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Continuous learning mindset and eagerness to stay updated with industry trends.
• Experience in coaching or mentoring team members is a plus.
