Purchasing Agent

About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Purchasing Agent to join our team. This role is responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, managing purchase orders, and ensuring that products and services are delivered on time and within budget. This position plays a critical role in maintaining operational efficiency and supporting organizational goals through strategic procurement.

Key Responsibilities Source and procure materials, products, and services to meet business requirements. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors. Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings and value. Create, issue, and track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery. Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with internal stakeholders on purchasing needs. Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and pricing opportunities.

Resolve supplier-related issues, including delivery delays, quality concerns, and invoice discrepancies. Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
