Position: INVENTORY SPECIALIST I
The Inventory Specialist I is responsible for NIN creation, item master governance, catalogue management, and warehouse system data integrity across drilling operations.

This role requires technical expertise in creating and maintaining accurate NIN records, managing catalogue structures, standardizing item descriptions, and identifying drilling equipment parts, assemblies, and components for proper classification within the item master.

The position supports inventory accuracy, sourcing efficiency, ERP data quality, and audit readiness by ensuring that catalogue data is complete, controlled, searchable, and aligned with drilling operations.

The ideal candidate will possess:

* Advanced working knowledge of NIN creation, item master governance, catalogue taxonomy, attribute standards, and part classification controls.

Qualifications:

* Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in warehouse, item master, NIN, or catalogue management for drilling rigs, oilfield equipment, heavy machinery, or O&G Manufacturing.

* Demonstrated ability to identify major parts, assemblies, and components used in drilling equipment and assign them to the correct catalogue structure.

* Experience managing item master data, NIN records, catalogue attributes, and inventory data in Oracle is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Strong analytical ability to review large item master and catalogue datasets, identify data gaps, and recommend corrective actions.

* Very strong MS Office skills, specifically Excel and Power BI.

* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.

TECHNICAL COMPENTENCIES

* Expert-level capability in identifying drilling equipment parts, assemblies, consumables, and components and translating that knowledge into accurate NIN, catalogue, and item master records.

* Proficient in ERP item master and inventory modules, including NIN setup, catalogue attribute maintenance, item status controls, and warehouse data fields.

* Skilled in duplicate item analysis, catalogue cleansing, attribute normalization, description standardization, and obsolete NIN review.

* Able to interpret part descriptions, manufacturer information, equipment usage, BOM relationships, and warehouse history to determine correct catalogue classification.

* Working knowledge of Oracle, Power BI, Excel, or similar tools used to review item master quality, inventory accuracy, catalogue completeness, and NIN governance metrics.
