The Logistics Manager will be responsible for managing the supply chain team and their key initiatives. The team will oversee plant level schedules and ensure their timely and effective execution. This team will control the modification and enhancement of these schedules due to changes in the business and customer needs while ensuring the plant is meeting key metrics, costs and strategic priorities.
The position will work closely with all areas of the BU (Operations/ Supply Chain/ Technical/ Commercial Sales/ Finance/ Leadership) along with direct customer involvement to delivery results and satisfy the needs of our customers and the busin
ess.

- ion:
Manage the execution and adherence of the supply plan; ensure any deviations from the supply plan are in alignment with business rules. Any issues are elevated for appro - val.
Manage and lead scheduler role and warehouse t - eam,Create detailed daily plant sched
- ules Measure key supply chain metrics (OTIF – Promise vs. Request, Inventory levels in units, schedule attainment, receipt accuracy, etc..), understand results and develop actions that drive results and lasting improvem
- ent.
Drive consistency and compliance with standard supply chain work processes (systemic and physical) throughout the BU Supply Ch - ain.
Ensure master planning data for all facilities is accurate and maintained in a timely fashion; perform monthly/quarterly audits of the data for complia - nce.
Assist plant operations to ensure the accuracy of systemic inventory and integrity of transactions; perform daily/weekly audits of the data for complia - nce.
Work closely with the sales and operations planning, supply chain project management, commercial, and operations teams to develop creative solutions that drive value and results for the busin
Qualifications/Sk
- ills:
Strong leadership and communication skills required. Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization as well as the cust - omer.
Previous change management and continuous improvement skills are requ - ired.
Must demonstrate strong working knowledge of planning and inventory processes and sys - tems.
Candidate must be highly organized and extremely analyt - ical.
Must demonstrate strong problem solving skills and ability to develop and implement creative solut - ions.
Adapt at multitasking several high profile projects while managing time and delivering tasks on - time.
Must be detailed oriented and results driven; continuously focused on improvem - ents.
Advanced computer skills required (IE: Microsoft Excel, Access, MS Query, VBA, SQL and - etc.)Must be able to demonstrate the ability to understand and analyze large sums of data and make quick specific assumptions and actions based on the res
