The Supervisor, Service Dock reports to the Director, Business Operations and oversees the receiving, storage, and distribution of consumable supplies supporting an academic healthcare institution. The position supervises staff, maintains accurate records, and completes and reviews supply orders. Responsibilities include ensuring timely and complete deliveries to internal departments and affiliated facilities while supporting efficient daily operations. The role requires the ability to follow established procedures and directions to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and safety standards.
Must have the ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
Job Duties- Maintains the SAP inventory process, procurement utilizing spreadsheets and accounting systems.
- Provides invoice management including warehouse management.
- Organizes and oversees equipment and daily operations and supply movements.
- Supervises supply chain staff.
- Complete administrative related expense reports, response to email communication, and meetings.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Four years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree. No experience required with Bachelor’s degree.
- Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or move supplies and packages weighing up to 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Previous supervisory experience.
