What We Are Looking For

The BOLT (Building Opportunities & Learning Together) Intern Program is Kinder Morgan's elite summer internship program. Do you want to spend your summer gaining hands‑on experience in the energy industry while enhancing your professional and interpersonal skills? At Kinder Morgan, you will have the opportunity to do just that by participating in meaningful projects that support our vision of delivering energy to improve lives and create a better world.

While in the Procurement department, this position will offer the following experience:

• Shadow Fleet team members to gain practical insight into fleet operations and management.
• Learn how fleet management supports Kinder Morgan's operations and contributes to overall business performance.
• Analyze key fleet metrics and KPIs related to safety, utilization, maintenance, and operating costs.
• Work with Fleet personnel to interpret data and identify opportunities to improve fleet safety, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Assist with day-to-day fleet management activities and support ongoing operational initiatives.
• Gain exposure to fleet systems, reporting tools, and business processes.
• Participate in projects focused on operational improvement, compliance, and asset performance.

• Information Systems, Data Analytics, or Supply Chain student Intermediate level.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Power Point).
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Excel pivot tables and data analysis is valuable in this role.
