The Senior Logistics Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Houston, TX. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring the movement of materials, equipment, and products across domestic and international locations to support TAQA’s operations. Daily activities include managing shipments and export documentation, optimizing supply chain processes, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company standards. The Senior Logistics Specialist collaborates closely with internal teams, external vendors, and customers to resolve logistics issues, maintain accurate records, and meet service-level and cost-efficiency targets.
The role also involves analyzing logistics performance data, identifying improvement opportunities, and contributing to the development of best practices and procedures.
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
- Proficient Analytical Skills to interpret logistics data, monitor KPIs, and recommend process improvements.
- Experience in Supply Chain Management, including inventory control, transportation coordination, and logistics planning.
- Knowledge of Export regulations, documentation requirements, and international trade practices.
- Experience in logistics or supply chain roles within the energy, industrial, or related sectors is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, logistics software, and standard office applications (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work on-site in Houston, TX, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Required:
High School Diploma - Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Freight Forwarding, Trade Compliance, or a related field
- 4–5 years of logistics or supply chain experience
- Preferred:
Oilfield Services (OFSE) industry experience
- Proficiency in shipment tracking and logistics management systems
