Logistics Analyst – 2nd Shift

• Develop actionable analyses to improve operational productivity and efficiency
• Prepare operational analyses of services, projects and general business functions
• Maintain databases and extract information
• Develop metrics and scorecards to measure and improve performance
• Research performance, productivity data, error rates and root causes
• Review reports to identify operational issues across departments
• Prepare reports, graphs, charts, presentations and other documents supporting analyses
• Use systems and software to develop and maintain reporting tools for business decisions
• Perform supplier and location waste walks to generate cost-saving ideas

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, Supply Chain or a related field, or equivalent related work or military experience
• 1 year of experience in comprehensive supply chain or logistics
• Expertise preparing, importing and manipulating information in spreadsheets, databases and presentations
• Ability to convert raw data into usable formats
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Access
• Ability to extract system data from SAP and use Excel/Access to develop reports
• Experience supporting Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), order management applications and database systems
• Advanced Excel skills, including macros
• Experience with SAP preferred
• Solid data mining and development skills
• Ability to perform statistical analysis and create queries
• Ability to create solutions-based reports to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Fundamental comprehension of warehouse operations and supply chain structure
• Solid verbal and written communication, organizational and time management skills
• May be required to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Must comply with GXO policies and applicable CDC, OSHA, state and local COVID safety requirements

Demonstrates expertise in data analysis and reporting, with advanced skills in Excel and experience in supply chain and logistics operations. Proficient in developing metrics and scorecards to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
