Materials Management Advisor – Inventory

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Materials Management Advisor to manage and optimize material inventory across a region/site. This role will focus on inventory strategy, performance analysis, demand planning, ERP/material master data, and continuous improvement.

• Develop and implement inventory strategies aligned with business requirements.
• Monitor inventory KPIs, performance, and optimization opportunities
  .
• Partner with Finance, Procurement, Maintenance, and Operations teams to optimize inventory and total cost of ownership (TCO).
• Manage material master data and ensure ERP data integrity.
• Develop critical spare parts and MRO inventory strategies with Maintenance teams.
• Support demand planning, inventory level setting, and forecasting
  .
• Lead physical inventory counts, reconciliation, and surplus/obsolete inventory disposition
  .
• Support ERP system deployments and inventory management process improvements.
• Manage and mentor Inventory Analysts
  .

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
  .
• Experience in Materials Management / Inventory Management
  .
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems and reporting tools
  ; SAP/MM preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Oil & Gas / Energy industry experience.
• MRO, spare parts, warehouse, or inventory control experience.
• Knowledge of inventory modeling, statistical analysis, or inventory accounting.
• Experience with ERP implementation/deployment.
