The Logistics Coordinator II works on-site to oversee and execute the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) Logistics and Materials Management processes. Acting as a critical interface between the Logistics Manager/Lead, EPC contractors, and internal project teams, this role ensures seamless supply chain integration, timely material movement, and full logistics support across all capital project deliverables.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, schedule, monitor, and track internal and external freight shipments to ensure on-time delivery to project sites.
- Serve as the primary operational liaison between project logistics leadership, EPC contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Maintain accurate tracking of material movements, orders, and delivery schedules in enterprise logistics and inventory systems.
- Promptly address and resolve inquiries from internal project stakeholders, external vendors, and key operational clients.
- Actively participate in project planning, material readiness, and prioritization meetings with key stakeholders and project leadership.
- Maintain comprehensive logistics logs, shipping manifests, customs/compliance documentation, and operational reports.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.
- Demonstrated mid-level experience in logistics planning, freight execution, materials handling, procurement, and EPC/construction site operations.
- Solid understanding of supply chain workflows, transport modes, freight forwarding, and project logistics execution.
- Strong quantitative and analytical problem-solving skills applied to scheduling, space utilization, and cost tracking.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and standard materials management/ERP systems (e.g., SAP or equivalent).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; adept at preparing formal project reports, operational procedures, and executive updates.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams, external contractors, and regulatory/governmental bodies.
- High adaptability and readiness to travel domestically and internationally to active project sites to provide hands‑on functional support.
