The Opportunity

We are seeking a strategic and data-driven Senior Supply Chain Analyst to lead advanced inventory optimization, material flow planning, and continuous improvement initiatives across EPD's supply chain operations. This role serves as a subject matter expert in Kanban systems, PFEP development, inventory control, and warehouse optimization while mentoring junior analysts and supporting scalable operational growth. What

You’ll Do Advanced Supply Chain Planning
  • Lead the development and maintenance of Plan For Every Part (PFEP) strategies.
  • Oversee Kanban systems to ensure inventory accuracy and material availability.
  • Analyze demand forecasts, historical usage, and inventory trends to optimize replenishment strategies.
  • Refine lot sizes, reorder points, and material flow processes.
  • Support capacity planning and material forecasting initiatives.
Warehouse & Material Flow Optimization
  • Drive warehouse improvement projects, layout optimization, and rack organization initiatives.
  • Develop Material Providing and Handling (MPH) standards and best practices.
  • Evaluate material movement processes and identify efficiency opportunities.
  • Analyze warehouse utilization and recommend process improvements.
  • Identify obsolete inventory and develop disposition strategies.
  • Utilize ERP systems and advanced Excel tools to generate actionable supply chain insights.
  • Track and analyze KPIs related to inventory health, Kanban accuracy, and material flow efficiency.
  • Conduct process audits and recommend corrective actions.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and performance metrics to support decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, sustainability, and operational scalability.
Leadership & Team Development
  • Mentor and develop Supply Chain Analysts and Associate Analysts.
  • Provide guidance on data analysis, process improvements, and supply chain methodologies.
  • Support team training and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive organizational alignment.
  • Foster a culture of analytical rigor, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Purchasing, Warehouse, Fabrication, and Operations teams to align material flow with production goals.
  • Communicate inventory risks, shortages, and process recommendations to leadership.
  • Support strategic supply chain initiatives and organizational growth objectives.
  • Engage stakeholders to resolve operational challenges and improve performance.
  • Recommend technology enhancements that improve supply chain visibility and efficiency.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain, inventory control, engineering, or material flow operations.
  • Strong knowledge of MRP, JIT, Kanban, and PFEP methodologies.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and inventory management tools.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Global Shop Solutions (GSS), SAP, Epicor, or similar ERP systems.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel expertise including pivot tables, macros, and data modeling.
  • Experience with warehouse optimization and process redesign initiatives.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience mentoring analysts or leading process improvement projects.
