Procurement Specialist

Ethos Energy is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our Houston, Texas Light Turbine team. In this role, you will lead procurement and supplier management activities that support manufacturing, repair operations, and customer delivery commitments. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help ensure material availability, strengthen supplier performance, and drive supply chain excellence. The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related field, along with strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred. We are looking for a strategic thinker who can balance immediate operational priorities with long-term sourcing and supply chain initiatives, while driving cost optimization, risk mitigation, capacity planning, and continuous improvement.

• Source, evaluate, and onboard suppliers; negotiate pricing, lead times, and commercial terms to achieve cost-effective and reliable supply solutions
• Issue and manage purchase orders for production, repair services, and non-stock materials in alignment with company policies and approval authorities
• Act as the primary point of contact for supplier communication, resolving issues related to pricing, delivery, technical requirements, and material availability

• 5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related function
• Strong knowledge of procurement practices, supply chain operations, and inventory management principles
• Experience using ERP systems and procurement tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms)
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop solutions to complex supply and demand challenges
• Demonstrated success in supplier negotiations, contract management, and vendor relationship development
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams (e.g., operations, engineering, finance)
• Strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute sourcing, inventory, and supply chain strategies that align with business objectives, mitigate risk, and support long-term operational growth
• Ability to balance short-term operational needs with long-term supply chain planning, capacity management, and cost optimization initiatives

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
