Overview

dnata Catering U.S. is looking for a Dishwasher to join our Houston team supporting the IAH airport. This position supports the cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, and works with kitchen staff to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.

• Salary Range: This salary range is influenced by the level of experience. When calculating the base pay, factors such as location, qualifications, training, and experience are considered as part of the overall compensation package.

• Follow established rules of entry to building and work areas, properly attired and in compliance with HACCP guidelines for personal hygiene and security precautions as mandated by management.
• Load dishwashing machine with soiled chinaware, trays, glasses, and silverware in appropriate carriers.
• Ensure the dishwashing machine is operating at a proper temperature and has detergent and necessary chemicals for proper operation.
• Unload the machine and place cleaned items in appropriate racks or storage containers in proper storage areas.
• Sanitize all trolleys, carriers, oven racks, and drawers and deliver to the proper area for storage.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area; assist with general sanitation and safety.

• Education:
  
  Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED with 2+ years’ experience in cleaning/ housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial experience.
• Previous dishwashing experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and self-organization; ability to manage a heavy workload.
• Flexibility with different shifts (night, weekends, holidays).
• Strong prioritization skills and ability to perform multiple tasks.
• Working knowledge of GMPs, sanitation processes/procedures and HACCP; knowledge of FDA/USDA requirements is a plus.

• Physical:
  Stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and stoop or kneel; regularly lift up to 30 pounds.
• Environment:
  Indoor workspace with noise levels ranging from minimal to loud.
