Groundskeeper - Willow Green

Position Summary

The Groundskeeper is responsible for cleaning and upkeep of the property’s interior and exterior buildings and grounds. The Groundskeeper may also assist the maintenance team with work orders, moving furniture, unloading/storing supplies, assisting with pool maintenance, and being responsible for pressure washing. The position may require participation in on‑call rotation, including evenings and weekends.

• Clean up trash from around the property dumpster(s) or trash chute(s), always ensuring a clean and tidy appearance.
• Clean the pool area and arrange pool furniture.
• Maintain cleanliness of the leasing office and all amenity and common areas, ensuring general cleanliness of grounds, laundry rooms, walkways, streets, driveways, parking lots, entrances, foyers, breezeways, recreational areas, etc.; perform exterior building light checks and assist with repairs and replacement of lights.
• Complete trash removal from vacated apartments as designated by supervisor and prepare units for make‑ready; complete carpet repairs and clean and shampoo carpet as needed.
• Complete minor repairs to walls, doors, wood trim, closets, and cabinets and prepare for painting.
• Report major repair or cleaning problems to management (e.g., HVAC, large sheetrock damage, etc.).
• Re‑key master locks and make keys available for leasing prior to move‑in.

• High School education or equivalent.
• Ability to work well with others and as part of a team; ability to take direction and work independently.
• Previous groundskeeper/porter experience helpful, but not required.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Knowledge of general maintenance, make‑ready of unit duties (trash out, cleaning & painting), housekeeping and cleaning tasks.
