We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Field Service Technician at XOS, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful installation, maintenance, and repair of our equipment. You will collaborate with customers, internal teams, and technical support to deliver top‑notch service and uphold our reputation for quality and reliability.

Your expertise and problem‑solving skills will be essential in delivering top‑notch service and contributing to the overall growth of our business.

• Deliver a positive customer experience while representing our products and services.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair XOS instruments on‑site, providing timely solutions.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Communicate directly with customers, sales reps, and distributors both in‑person and by phone.
• Collaborate with internal support and applications teams to resolve complex technical issues.
• Provide training to customers and end‑users on proper operation and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate service records, including reports, documentation, and inventory.
• Build strong customer relationships and gather field feedback to support product and service improvements.

• 1–5 years of technical experience, with strong electro‑mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work independently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic troubleshooting tools.
• Willingness to travel 80–90%, including overnight trips; must live near a major airport.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $36.00 - $40.00 USD per hour.
